KENT BOSWORTH

KENT BOSWORTH

He has a marketing degree from Colorado, went to graduate school in Berkeley and was the youngest VP of a major U.S. ad agency, but the worst golfer.

During twelve years in San Francisco at Hoefer, Dieterich + Brown and Chiat/Day he supervised national and international ad campaigns for Jeep, Brillo, Purex, Woolite, California Brandy, Central America, Canadian Pacific Airlines, Spanish tourism, Nevada resorts and Stetson Hats.

Moving to Kansas City and Barickman/Doyle Dane Bernbach as EVP, Kent directed the agency’s work for Pillsbury, Crock Pots, Kentucky Fried Chicken franchisees and Chrysler dealers.

Next he became a client: VP-Marketing for ERA Real Estate’s 3,500 office network, where he headed national advertising and PR and helped develop new services. Two years after ERA’s acquisition by Control Data, Kent left to start The Bosworth Group. TBG will soon be 30.

Away from his desk, you can find him flying, hiking with his wife, or collecting old Winchesters.
